What are the requirements for e-bikes?

If you have a standard e-bike, there’s no need to worry. If you want to know the exact specifications, please refer to the technical requirements on this page: Ausschreibung

Disqualification

The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants or impose other penalties, particularly in the case of technical deficiencies, health problems and gross breaches of the rules. Any participants who are too slow may be taken out of the race after exceeding the time limit. Any participants who exceed the time limit (average speed too low) and are overtaken by the broom wagon will be removed from the race.

Timekeeping

BR-Timing is the official timekeeper for the event. Your individual time will be recorded by a transponder integrated into the handlebar plate (block start = start time).

How is the route secured?

As your safety is very important to us, the route is monitored by security personnel and the German Red Cross.

Will there be doping tests?

The race numbers of any athletes required to undergo a doping test will be posted at the finish line, in the refreshment area and at the entrance to the designated testing facility. Otherwise, the BDR’s anti-doping regulations apply.

Where can I park my car?

You can find an overview of parking spaces available in Daun here.

Where can I park my camper van?

The nearest parking facility for camper vans can be found at the train station in Daun (this is approx. 500 m from the town center and can be accessed via a small bridge). The parking facilities near the start line are mainly for cars (and may be occupied for the event itself). They are unfortunately not suitable for larger camper vans.

How do I redeem a voucher?

It’s very simple: Take a photo of your voucher, say that you want to redeem it for the next event, specify the route you want to take, share your address and date of birth, and send everything to info@inmedia.info. We will take care of your registration.

What should I do if I have registered but won’t be able to take part?

No problem! These things happen. Just send us a medical certificate so that we can transfer your money back to you. Alternatively, you can assign your starting place to someone else – just send an email to info@inmedia.info and we will change the details for you.
